Our take
I picked up the Callaway Mavrik Driver in 9.0 regular flex. The club arrived in excellent condition as advertised. The 9-degree loft gives me a nice penetrating ball flight off the tee. I like the feel of the regular flex shaft; it loads well for my swing speed. The launch is lower than my previous driver, which helps me control spin in windy conditions. The clubface feels hot on contact, and I'm gaining a few yards. The only downside is that it didn't come with a headcover, but that's minor. For $185, it's a great value for a premium driver.
