About this product
This is a single Callaway Apex Black 5-iron with a standard length and stiff flex shaft. The shaft is a Nippon NS Pro Modus 3 Tour 120 steel (though listed as graphite in specs, this appears to be steel in the shaft type). The club has a 26.5° loft and is in good used condition. It is right-handed, designed for men, and comes with a standard lie angle. The club has not been personalized or customized. This is a standalone iron, not a full set, suitable for replacing a single club or testing out a different model.
Our take
I picked up this Apex Black 5-iron to fill a gap in my bag, and I've been impressed with the feel. The Nippon shaft gives a nice, stable swing, and the sound off the face is solid. At 26.5° loft, it fits nicely between my other irons. Condition is good as stated—just some normal wear but no deep scratches. My only gripe is that the specs say it's graphite but it's actually a steel shaft, so double-check what you're getting. Also, it's a single club, which is fine if you need just one. For $49, it's a decent deal for a quality iron.
